Most everyone would like to build their own solar panel if they knew how easy it is and for a fraction of the cost of a commercial panel. Did you know that in one hour the earth receives enough solar energy to supply the whole world's energy needs for an entire year. When I first read this statement I became very interested in solar energy. After some research on the cost per watt I knew that solar power was not in my budget. I then began to search the net for ways to build my own panel and found some very informative sites on the subject. But they all seemed to lack in some of the finer details about building a panel. After compiling information from these sites I was able to build a panel that will output 60 plus watts of electricity for a fraction of the cost. I took lots of pictures and documented the entire project and decided to build this site so that someone like you can successfully build your own solar panel.
